Post-Remediation Verification
Post-remediation verification (PRV) is performed after mold remediation work has been completed to confirm that the cleanup was successful and the area is safe for occupancy. This is an important step to ensure that mold levels have returned to normal and that the remediation was performed properly.
During a PRV inspection, we perform a visual inspection of the remediated areas, check for remaining moisture issues, and collect air samples if necessary. Samples are sent to an independent laboratory to confirm that airborne mold spore levels are within normal ranges.
Once the area passes verification, we provide documentation confirming that the remediation was successful. This documentation is often required for real estate transactions, property management records, and insurance claims.
